Who Am I?
Hello! I’m Brett. I am excited to introduce myself as a new practicum student with the Dochas Psychological team. I have a background in psychology and have spent my career supporting others in various therapeutic roles. As a mother, wife, and daughter, I deeply value meaningful relationships in our lives.
My passion lies in supporting others on their journeys, helping them navigate challenges, and discovering their strengths. Outside of my professional life, I cherish spending time in nature with my family on our acreage, where we enjoy the company of our beloved animals. I look forward to contributing to our community’s well-being and fostering connections that matter.
Working With Me
In our sessions together, you can expect a space filled with respect and warmth. I adopt a client-centered approach and view our therapeutic journey as a collaborative process.
We all face challenges in life like anxiety, stress, low mood, depression, grief or loss, family or relationship issues, trauma, or big life transitions and sometimes need someone to hear us and help us uncover our potential. In my practice, I incorporate therapeutic models such as solution-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral techniques, and mindfulness practices, tailoring my approach to meet your unique needs, whether that’s in person or virtually.
Together, we can create a personalized plan that resonates with you and fosters your growth.
