Who Am I?
Hi, I am Isaac, and since the earliest parts of my life, helping others has been a value and a source of satisfaction for me. From shovelling someone’s walks to supporting them through their toughest losses, I am honoured to be part of making our community stronger, and I believe that, despite the trials the world sometimes gives us, together we can make meaning in our lives.
For a long period of my life, I neglected my own mental health, trying to tough out my anxiety and stress about every little thing, and I know how easy it is to ignore our own needs with so much going on in life. From experience, I appreciate the courage and strength it takes to work on ourselves, and I have committed my work life to helping others turn that courage into the changes and the support they want in life. Being a therapist lets me be part of that help, and I get to meet so many amazing people who honour me with their stories and let me sit with them through their toughest times. All while I get to blend my passion for psychology, philosophy, and meaningful conversations into my work.
Outside of my professional life, I love playing all kinds of sports, video games, creative writing, working with my hands, and spending time with friends and family; I’m never far from a laugh.

In our sessions together, I will be ready to hear and hold whatever you have to say in a judgment-free space where we can tailor our work together to your needs. I adopt a collaborative approach that places you as the expert of your own life: I won’t be telling you what to do, but working with you so you can know what to do in accordance with your values and the person you want to be.
I integrate a variety of evidence-based approaches, such as cognitive behavioural therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing, to help clients develop goals, weigh choices, steer toward the life they want, and address both the roots of their problems and how they show up in the here and now.
The world can be a very challenging place, and life will throw stressors at us like crazy. I am here to help you manage the overwhelm. Working together, you will have someone in your corner ready to help you at any or every step of your journey, so you can feel supported in becoming the person you want to be.
