Who Am I?
Life can be painful, confusing, and sometimes just plain hard. And maybe the people we thought would be supportive ended up trying to fix, minimize, or tell us how we should feel.
That’s where I come in.
Therapy with me is a space to slow down and check in with yourself. I listen because I’ve been there. I’ve spent years running away from my pain rather than turning toward it, and that can leave us feeling stuck and unsure of where to go next.
Exploring our pain can feel unsettling, even scary at times. But often, the things we’ve spent years avoiding are the very things asking to be understood. I believe nobody knows us better than ourselves, and therapy can be a way of reconnecting with the parts of ourselves that may have gotten lost along the way or that we haven’t made space for.
Working With Me
I like to get curious about the things we don’t always know how to talk about. My role is to offer guidance, ask thoughtful questions, and help you make sense of what you’re experiencing. We’ll work collaboratively and at a pace that feels right for you.
I bring a warm and genuine approach, while also being willing to go deeper when you’re ready. I’m particularly interested in how our experiences can shape the thoughts, beliefs, and patterns we carry with us, and I use approaches including EMDR and bilateral stimulation when appropriate to help process experiences that may still feel stuck or difficult to work through on your own.
